HOURLY REQUIREMENTS FOR VETERINARIANS
First-Time License Renewal – 15 hours first 2 years
Subsequent License Renewals – 30 hours every 2 years
Up to 30 hours may be obtained online
HOURLY REQUIREMENTS FOR VETERINARY TECHNICIANS
First-Time License Renewal – 5 hours first 2 years
Subsequent License Renewals – 10 hours every 2 years
Up to 10 hours may be obtained online
SPECIFIC REQUIRED COURSES
No more than one-third of the total continuing education contact hours required may be in non-scientific topics.
