HOURLY REQUIREMENTS FOR VETERINARIANS

45 hours every 3 years

45 hours may be obtained via non-interactive online pertaining to a temporary change in classification due to the COVID-19 pandemic. CE Update Link

HOURLY REQUIREMENTS FOR VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

24 hours every 3 years

24 hours may be obtained via non-interactive online pertaining to a temporary change in classification due to the COVID-19 pandemic. CE Update Link

SPECIFIC REQUIRED COURSES

Opioid Prescribing – The number of CE credits required to fulfill New York’s controlled substance education requirement is 2.  Any online course that focuses on the use, misuse, documentation, safeguarding and prescribing of controlled substances will satisfy the requirement.
