HOURLY REQUIREMENTS FOR VETERINARIANS
20 hours every 1 year
10 hours may be obtained online
HOURLY REQUIREMENTS FOR VETERINARY TECHNICIANS
12 hours every 2 years
6 hours may be obtained online
SPECIFIC REQUIRED COURSES
Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians – Opioid Prescribing – 2 HOURS of continuing education on the abuse of controlled substances will be required per renewal cycle; these 2 hours are included in the total number of CE hours. http://www.ncvmb.org/
